Hood Warfare 2 Download: Install the PC Game on Steam

Confirm that the listing names Hood Warfare 2, the developer is Trapstar Games, and the app number in the address is 5155360. That identifies the sequel; a page for the original Hood Warfare is a different product.

The developer lists Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or newer) among the minimum requirements, 8 GB RAM and 25 GB available storage. Recommended storage is 30 GB. Those figures describe the published requirements, not an exact download size or a guarantee that every PC with enough disk space can run the game. For purchasing, use the price and availability displayed for your own Steam account. Store currency and offers can change; an old screenshot is not the amount you will necessarily pay.

If Steam is already installed, open it. Otherwise, get the installer from Steam’s own download page and follow the installation prompts. Valve documents the process in Installing Steam.

Sign in to the account that owns, or will purchase, the game. Keep that account consistent when switching between the store in your browser and the desktop client. Buying a game and installing its files are separate steps: a purchase grants access on the account, while the client downloads the game to a chosen computer.

1. Open the official Hood Warfare 2 store page and complete the purchase if you do not own it already.
2. Return to the Steam desktop client and open Library.
3. Find Hood Warfare 2, open its Library page and choose Install.
4. Review the destination drive in the installation dialog. Choose a Steam library with enough available space.
5. Start the installation and check the Downloads view for progress or an error.

A Steam community post describes a general client issue: the post-purchase install prompt did nothing, while starting from the Library worked. It is not a report about Hood Warfare 2.
